Sjaruna-songs  are inspired by folkmusic and early western churchmusic and is written in an invented language. The songs are created from a fascination for the solo voice and its vast possibilities for timbre, ornamentation and melody. The first song was written in 2013, after years of studying in apprenticeship in India, Tyrkey, Bulgaria, Syria, Hungary, Ireland and early western classical music. How do you write such beautiful and expressive solosongs like all of these nations and nuns has done in the past?
